The Gateway Sun has obtained evidence of what appears to be a violation of public ethics rules committed by a member of the Board of Supervisors of the Gateway Services Community Development District.
The infraction may not be serious enough to warrant removal from the board of this member, however the incident will almost certainly be investigated by state authorities and could result in a fine of up to $500.
We will publish our story on Monday, Aug 21, 2017.
Nobody killed anybody.
But it sure looks like rules were broken.
Please understand that if I was flat out making this up, it would be the end of this publication. And I’ll be completely gobsmacked if some technicality exists that allowed this behavior. If I’m right that rules were broken, it doesn’t seem to me that it was serious enough to call for ousting from the board for this Supervisor.
But maybe it was.
My apologies in advance to the Supervisor(s) involved. But … this has to be disclosed.
