The Gateway Services Community Development District has five Supervisors once again.

Stoneybrook resident Doug Banks was chosen by the other four Supervisors to complete Rod Senior’s term in Seat 5, which runs until November 2018. Senior resigned from the board on April 8, 2016.

Two Supervisors voted for Banks as their number one choice, while the other two voted Banks as their second choice.

While the full vote results are not yet known, Chairman William Guy told the audience that Banks was far and away the top choice over-all among the current board members.

Supervisor Banks was sworn in and at the time of publishing he was participating in his first GSCDD meeting as a member of the board.

We will have more on this story later.
