After nearly one year of inactivity, work has resumed at the Gateway Quick Mart.

Located at 12331 Towne Lake Drive in units 10 and 11, the Quick Mart is owned by the same group that owns the Subway restaurant next door.

In August 2015, Lee County building inspectors received multiple complaints about work being done at the location without proper permitting. County inspectors put a halt to all construction work at the Quick Mart, however all their paperwork now appears to be in order.

One source told the Gateway Sun that the store could open in a month. It is believed the Gateway Quick Mart will primarily compete with the 7-Eleven and Gateway Vapor.

The owners of the Quick Mart did not respond to our request for information.
