Stand up and shooooouuuuuuuuuut!

This weekend is the Fort Rock Festival at jetBlue Park in Gateway. And while the fictional bad Steel Dragon will not be performing, actual rock stars Def Leppard (April 29) and Soundgarden (April 30) will be.

The two-day festival should attract more than 20,000 concert goers, and tickets are still available for $70 to attend on either Saturday or Sunday … or $129.50 for both days. More expensive VIP packages are also available.

The acts performing on April 29 include: Def Leppard, Papa Roach, CheVelle, Three Days Grace, Alter Bridge, Seether, In This Moment, Motionless in White, n0thing m0re, Beartooth and Cover Your Tracks.

The festival’s second day, April 30, features: Soundgarden, A Perfect Circle, The Offspring, Mastadon, Highly Suspect, The Pretty Reckless, In Flames, Eagles of Death Metal, All That Remains, Starset, I Prevail, Dinosaur Pile-up and Goodbye June.

This is the fifth consecutive year for Fort Rock.

Monster Energy and Jack Daniels are the main sponsors for this year’s concerts.

EDITOR’S NOTE: And I just noticed on my Facebook feed that LifeInGateway.com published a story about Fort Rock earlier today as well. Please visit their website every chance you get.
