The Gateway branch of Sanibel Captiva Community Bank is now open, providing personal and business banking services – specializing in residential loans.

The new branch is located at 11691 Gateway Blvd, Suite 101 and is open Monday through Thursday from 9am to 4pm, and on Friday from 9am to 5pm.

“We are proud to be the only bank open and operating in Gateway. Businesses and neighborhood residents alike will find the branch location very convenient and easy to conduct banking business,” said Craig Albert, the bank’s president.

Sanibel Captiva was founded in 2003 and they currently operate seven branches, including a new downtown Fort Myers location that opened last month.

According to a statement from the bank, they offer the second highest return on equity out of Florida’s 149 chartered banks, and their services include: free personal and business checking, top-yielding money market accounts, safe deposit boxes, electronic statements and a mobile banking app, as well as online and drive-thru banking.

An ATM machine will be available as soon as the data lines are installed.

Earlier this month Sanibel Captiva was nominated for the News-Press Business of the Year award.
