According to a News-Press report from earlier this year, Gateway Charter High School could be breaking ground next month on a new stadium for it’s football teams.
Currently the Gateway Griffins play their home games at East Lee County High School.
The report, quoting Griffins head coach Chris Morant, states that the stadium could cost approximately $250,000 to build.
It should be ready for the 2017 season, according to the report.
We have reached out to multiple officials at Gateway Charter to find out where the stadium will be located.
More to follow.
