Fine Folk Pizza, billed as “Ft. Myers New & Awesome Pizza Shop!” opened for business yesterday at 11300 Lindbergh Boulevard, Suite 114.

In case you don’t immediately recognize the address, the new pizzeria located along Daniels Parkway just east of jetBlue Park, next to Norman Love Confections.

Specializing in handcrafted artisan pizzas and seafood options, the “Fine Folk Experience” is described as: Great food, good people and most of all having an extraordinary experience. Whether you’re picking up lunch for the office, celebrating after a soccer game, or getting delivery after a long day, we’re here to make that experience special. Fine Folk offers over thirty specialty pizza options as well as salads and an artisan seafood menu with ten sauce options.

Since it’s my duty as editor, I personally went and researched Fine Folk today by trying out their pizza. Originally I was going to order a whole pizza, but I went at lunch time and noticed they offered slices.

I had two: buffalo chicken and pepperoni.

Both slices were very good, but if I had to choose I would say I preferred the buffalo chicken.

It had a very modern look inside with an interesting piece of wall art that was an 8 foot (or so) “slice of pizza” made out of pizza tools and utensils. I thought it was a pretty clever decor idea.

Fine Folk are a family-owned establishment, with their first location being in Sea Isles City, New Jersey.

They offer free delivery, and their website is finefolkpizza.com. They can be reached at 239-313-5155.

We wish the fine folks at Fine Folk Pizza well!
